Select Inn Pet Policy

Generally, Select Inns accept "small" dogs and cats. Approval is at the discretion of the hotel, and each hotel may have established more specific policies than contained in this overview. Guests must make prior arrangements with the hotel to make sure that a designated "pet room" is available, as there are limited numbers of such rooms at each property.

Guests with pets must read and sign a "Select Inn Pet Policy" application and are required to put up a $25.00 damage deposit (per room, not per pet). Deposits can be made by cash or by an authorized credit card. The room will be inspected prior to check-out, and, if everything is in order, the deposit will be refunded.

Additional guidelines:

Pets must NOT be left unattended in the guest's room.
Pets must be crated while in the guest's room.
Pets must be leashed or caged when in the hallways or other public areas.
Guest will be held responsible for any damage done by his/her pet to the room or any other area of the hotel. The guest's pet damage deposit will be applied to any related expenses, however, this deposit does not relieve the guest of responsibility for costs greater than the deposit.
Pets must not be allowed to bark or otherwise disturb other hotel guests.
Pets are allowed only in designated non-smoking and smoking rooms.
Pets must be "walked" in either the designated "pet walking" area or in an area far away from the Hotel and other businesses.
All pet "messes" (including outdoor messes) must be promptly cleaned up and properly disposed of by the pet's owner. Please ask the Front Desk Staff where these should be discarded.
Guests with pets who fail to comply with the foregoing policies are subject to eviction without refund.
